Great overview of the HERO System. I'd like to point out that people trying to save a buck or two on HERO Games books can order them pretty cheaply online from this company called "Comics Now." That's where I usually get mine from. Also, HERO Games makes many of its books available in PDF, which is great for use during a game, since specific references can be found quickly using Adobe Reader's Find function. And a final note, the character creation software developed by HEROphile Dan Simon, HERO Designer, takes a whole lot of the drudgery out of creating or modifying HERO System characters, which can be put together from scratch or downloaded from various online sources. Modifying an existing group of villains to better suit the PCs' power level in HERO Designer is a snap. Thanks for the new podcast!

Glad you liked the show. Yeah I like the pdf thing thats on the Herogames site. I have a couple myself. I will say the Hero Designer program is good but I did find putting new upgrades to it was a pain. I have been using it though to make NPC's for my game though and it has taken some of the trudgery out of the work.
